The essence of eday could be blown away

The images below shows how the landscape of Eday would be transformed by the Neven Point windfarm, and the destructive excavations required to install a large-scale wind turbine. Five wind turbines, each double the height of Big Ben, are planned for installation on the South Side of Eday. The infrastructure of Eday would be strained to the limit, and very likely beyond. The Neven Point wind farm puts the residents of Eday in an untenable position, with significant risks to daily life on the island.
